Despite being the fastest growing segment in the auto sales industry, there's not an official definition for Buy Here Pay Here in the dictionary. Buy Here Pay Here (BHPH) financing means that you arrange a loan and make payments on it at the dealership. You purchase the car through what's referred to as in-house financing versus through a third party, such as a bank. Instead of making monthly payments to a traditional lender, you make weekly or bi-weekly payments at the dealership. You therefore "buy" the car at the dealership and "pay" on the loan at the dealership.

2.    What's the difference between a BHPH dealership and a traditional dealership?

Depending on the dealerships you visit, very little. Bringing the correct documents to a BHPH dealership can dramatically speed up your purchase process. Although the list of items can differ depending on your unique credit situation and each dealership, we require that you bring:

1 - Driver's License

2 - 8 References (with complete contact info)

3 - Paycheck stub less than 30 days old

4 - Current Phone Bill

5 - Utility Bill

6 - Title for Trade-in

Additional documents you may bring:
Down Payment Money
Proof of Auto Insurance
Social Security Number
Financial Info (bank and credit card account info to fill out credit application)
Proof of Residence (mortgage document or rental lease agreement)

7.    What happens if I have filed Bankruptcy in the past?

We finance customers who have filed bankruptcy all the time.  If you have filed bankruptcy and have recently been discharged or dismissed then getting approval is as easy as just filling out the application.  If you are still in Bankruptcy,  we can work with you to get you in a vehicle, but a face-to-face meeting with your local Easton Motors sales consultant is required. 

8.    How does Easton Motors accept payments? What is the late policy?

Instead of making monthly payments to a traditional lender, you make weekly or bi-weekly payments at a BHPH dealership.  All of the following are acceptable methods of payment: cash, check, debit card or money order.  You may also pay online though the Easton Motors website.

9.    What type of warranty do you offer?

12.    What is GAP Insurance?

GAP insurance can provide valuable protection during the early years of your car's life if you have a loan or a lease.

If a loss occurs, GAP insurance will pay the difference between the actual cash value of the vehicle ad the current outstanding balance on your loan or lease. GAP insurance protects your vehicle loan or lease. it will sometimes pay your regular insurance deductible.
